IT Return forms

I happen to read the interview form…. nowhere it was asked to fill the family income and documents like IT returns for PI. If I’m wrong correct me.. or are you guys referring to the Employment record column in the form which are for work exp people. I’m a fresher and my family income is less than 2 lakh. I belonged to the reserved category (SC), so do i need to take any documents like my fathers IT return to the Interview. Do i stand to get full tuition waiver. Of course i know there may be even more factors for fee waiver.

IT returns document is not necessary at least for the interview. But if they have asked to submit it along with fee-waiver form then please do so. It is always better to have the necessary documents ready with you.

Family income (of parents + spouse) is the only factor considered for the fee waiver so you are eligible for it. The amount of waiver is a function of the family income itself and would be calculated by the institute and informed to you in due course.
Last year we had to fill an ‘ILTFW’ section in our forms where we had to express our interest in availing the fee waiver and mention our family income. So I think it’ll be more prudent to take a copy of your parents’ IT returns to your PI just in case.

    All the very best,
