Hi Manav,

The batch profile is variable throughout the batches. The median work experience of students in the current first year batch is around 22 months approximately. However, it is not an elimination criteria for final admission.

The weightage for work profile is captured in giving interview calls via application rating.

The final admission of candidate depends on the assessment of candidate-program fit. And the interview about what you have done so far will consider where you are in your current state and make an evaluation accordingly. (u will not be penalized for not having work ex or for having too much work ex (if there is something like that) as long as you are clear about your reasons for doing an MBA at this juncture.)

All the best for preparation.

Hello Shanu,

There is no clear demarcations as such.
Feel free to use your discretion and put them under appropriate heads.
You may use definitions on en.wikipedia.org for reference and decide.
As far as i know allocation of heads if inappropriate might not create any issue.

Best of luck for your preparation.

Dear Akriti,

As the percentages are clearly stated with the CGPA, its better to write percentages! I think conversion certificate shall not be a necessity since its purpose is to convert CGPA to percentages and it is already done in your marksheet.

Kindly get further clarifications by contact the admissions office for the same at the earliest. (contact details mentioned in the call letter sent to you) They would guide you about the same as they already calculated your scores in profile rating while giving interview calls.

About attestation, college/school authorities/bank managers/government gazetted officers can attest your marksheets. Also, self attestation is sufficient too. Only your marksheets and degree certificates (if you have any, only for those who have completed graduation) need to be attested.

keep the originals in a dockette along with your other certificates. Its advisable to carry atleast 2 sets of attested copies of your marksheets and IIM-A takes one set (as far as i remember) just in case if it might be asked.

Hope this helps.
Best of luck for your preparation.
Revert back in case of further queries.

Hi,

This is with regard to the application form. In the form, we are to write "curricular", "co-curricular" and "extra-curricular" activities. Now, a under 100 JEE rank would count as curricular or a co-curricular? And what is the difference between co-curricular and extra-curricular? Is there anything else apart from research papers published that we can add to co-curricular?

Dear Students@iima in PGP-ABM,

I've done my B.Tech Agricultural Engineering and have a work experience of 3 years in a Landscaping and Irrigation Contracting company in Dubai.

First i'd like to know that essay would be after the GD or before. And also the case study given for GD will be related to Agribusiness only?

Secondly can you please tell what all companies come for the campus recruitment for ABM and what was the minimum, average and maximum packages offered and by which companies?
